State info sessions to focus on ESEA requirements

The Department of Education, the Massachusetts School Elementary School Principals' Association, and the Massachusetts Secondary School Administrators' Association invite principals, assistant principals, charter school leaders and teacher representatives to attend one of four information sessions on new requirements under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).

Each session will provide participants with information about preparing and disseminating school report cards as required by ESEA, according the DOE. The department said it would also outline requirements for defining and reporting data on "highly qualified" teachers.

Southeast: Brockton High School  March 5, 10:00-12:00
West: Springfield Science and Technology High School March 6, 2:00-4:00
