Funeral services for Danvers High School teacher Colleen Ritzer will take place in her hometown of Andover, with a wake on Sunday, October 27, and funeral Mass on Monday, October 28.

Calling hours will be from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex St., Andover. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, also at St. Augustine.

The body of Ms. Ritzer, 24, was found Wednesday. A Danvers High School student has been charged in connection with her slaying.

Ms. Ritzer taught math at Danvers High School and was pursuing a graduate degree at Salem State University. Following her graduation from Assumption College in Worcester, Ms. Ritzer taught at Hale Middle School in Stow. Ms. Ritzer was a graduate of Andover High School.
