Summer Conference online registration opens
The Summer Conference offers you the flexibility to tailor your training experience to your own preferences. Registration deadline is June 12.
There are multi-day workshops (tracks) and one-day workshops that run through several days of the conference or through all or most of a day. Selection of one or more of these means a full commitment to the times listed. There are individual single-session workshops, which run for 1.5 hours, 3 hours or 4.5 hours. You may register for one day, the week or anything in between.
Programs on all aspects of organizational and leadership development are being offered.
You'll find quality professional issues workshops that connect education reform initiatives and classroom practice. You'll have a chance to take advantage of these as individual workshops or by creating your own strands while earning content area or general education PDPs, PTPs or CEUs.
To help you wander through the maze of workshops, a topical guide of workshops is included in Workshop Information Tab. This topical guide will assist you in combining content area workshops in strands for the hours required to earn PDPs, PTPs or CEUs.
Who Should Attend?
If you are an MTA member, you are eligible and warmly encouraged to attend the Summer Conference, where you will find many high-quality workshops. Members seeking to enhance their knowledge of content areas or classroom techniques will be delighted with the abundance of programs on these subjects. New or seasoned local leaders will find essential workshops to prepare them for their roles or to hone their skills in organizational leadership. We extend an invitation for non-members to attend as well.
