It’s time to raise the COLA!

The COLA base hasn’t changed in 12 years. The maximum annual COLA that retirees can receive is 3 percent on the first $12,000 of their pensions. The COLA base has only doubled in the past 38 years. The COLA base was set at $6,000 in 1971!

Join your colleagues on October 26th in Boston to lobby for the passage of H2487. This MTA-supported legislation would increase the COLA base to $16,000.
