Haverhill Education Association to School Committee: Contract Now!

More than 400 Haverhill Education Association members rallied in and outside City Hall on Monday night to call attention to their drawn out fight for a contract. Despite their efforts – they’ve made concessions on pay and health insurance – the School Committee will not settle their contract.

HEA members chanted: “What do we want? Contract!” as school committee members arrived on Monday night. HEA has gone three years without a contract.
