Support striking Verizon workers!

The MTA strongly supports the striking Verizon employees, who are standing up for their rights and seeking fair compensation. Their interests are the same as the interests of working people everywhere: reasonable job security and equitable treatment. Verizon is a very profitable company with highly paid senior executives. The employees deserve to share in the company's success and to be supported in their effort to keep decent health care and other benefits.
