TELL Mass webinar scheduled
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has scheduled an additional TELL Mass webinar for Race to the Top districts on Tuesday, March 13th from 4 to 5:30 p.m. MTA members are encourged to attend, as this will be the last informational webinar about the Teaching, Empowering, Learning and Leading Massachusetts survey.
Information on registering and logging in to the webinar are provided below. Links to the webinars DESE conducted this week can be found at www.tellmass.org.
Dear Race to the Top Participants:
During the week of March 5th, principals in every school will receive a packet of letters from Commissioner Chester that will contain the information on how to anonymously access the 2012 TELL Mass (Teaching, Empowering, Leading, and Learning in Massachusetts) survey. This is a statewide opportunity, funded by the Race to the Top initiative, for all licensed school-based educators in Massachusetts to provide valuable input on key education issues such as available time, facilities, and resources; community engagement and support; instructional practices; and more.
ESE will be providing an interactive, informational webinar targeted for Race to the Top districts on March 13th, 4:00-5:30PM. During the webinar, you will receive additional background information about the survey and you will be asked to provide feedback and comments as we continue outreach across the Commonwealth and share the TELL Mass opportunity. At the end of the webinar, you will receive a set of PowerPoint slides that will help you share the information about TELL Mass with your educators. In the meantime, please visit www.tellmass.org for further information. NOTE: Space is limited to the first 99 participants- we encourage principals within a district to join at one computer where possible. The webinar will be recorded and available for download the next day on www.tellmass.org.
