A recent workshop for educators in their first five years in the field.

Planned and presented by the MTA New Member Committee, this program provides the perfect opportunity to meet with fellow educators and get tips on classroom management and using technology in the classroom. New Teacher workshops are open to MTA members in their first five years of practice.

  • Inclusion strategies
  • Google apps
  • Engaging dormant readers
  • Project-based learning and research and universal design for learning with technology
  • Building positive relationships with colleagues and administrators
  • Effectively utilizing reader and math notebooks and understanding students with trauma
