Fulfilling the Promise of Education Reform: Narrowing the Achievement Gaps, Closing the Staffing Gaps, Reducing the Funding Gaps . This paper outlines eleven broad recommendations in the three areas and was approved by the boards of both teacher organizations.
MTA policy brief, Tomorrow’s Teachers: Preparing the Education Workforce for 21^st Century Schools, which outlines a new teacher preparation process that is in line with many of the RTTT guidelines.
The Final Report of the Massachusetts Teaching, Learning, and Leading Survey (MassTeLLS), Creating School Conditions Where Teachers Stay and Student Thrive, which defines key issues as identified by the over 40,000 educators who took the survey in the winter of 2008.
