Retirement Consultations

Consultations on retirement are available for free for MTA members.
Published: July 2025

You only retire once. You should not be expected to be an expert in something you will never do again. Take advantage of the valuable services provided by our retirement consultants, who are available to MTA members without charge.

All consultations are held by appointment only, during the hours listed. Members are advised to call selected MTA consultants in advance to schedule an appointment.

Proof of membership must be submitted when requesting retirement services. This schedule is in effect from September to June, except at the MTA’s Quincy headquarters, which is staffed during the summer and school vacations. Please be aware that the MTA consultants do not have records of your service, so members are advised to bring that information to meetings.
