DON’T FORGET TO VOTE BY TUESDAY, NOV. 5
The recommendations in this election guide are for candidates on the general election ballot in 2024.
- Election Day is Tuesday, November 5.
- Applications for mail-in ballots must be turned in by 5 p.m. on October 29.
- Mail-in ballots returned in person or by drop box must be delivered by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
- Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by Election Day and reach your local election office by 5 p.m. on November 8th in order to be counted.
- The in-person early voting period is October 19 – November 1.

For the first time, Education Support Professionals had their own day of solidarity building and collaboration at the MTA Summer Conference. Held on a Sunday, because so many ESPs are forced by low wages to work additional jobs, the day encouraged members to reflect on their strengths and challenges as union members.
