Standing Strong for Public Education
MTA retirees are a powerful, organized force for change – winning key statewide victories and continuing to advocate for human and civil rights and strong public education.
MTA retirees have a voice and make a difference. They are a powerful force in statewide campaigns, including recent efforts to defeat charter school expansion, pass key pieces of legislation such as the Student Opportunity Act, the Fair Share Amendment and the repeal of the MCAS high school graduation requirement and WEP/GPO.
