MTA Executive Committee action on Middle East conflict

In the spirit of advocating for peace, the MTA Executive Committee at its meeting last Saturday voted to call for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and have the MTA be a signatory to a petition by labor unions.

In the spirit of advocating for peace, the MTA Executive Committee at its meeting last Saturday voted to call for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and have the MTA be a signatory to this petition by labor unions. We encourage members and locals to discuss it in the spirit of mutual understanding and solidarity.
