2025 MTA Summer Conference

July 26 to 29 at UMass Amherst Summer Conference

Join us for four days of learning, connection, joy and solidarity at our biggest conference of the year.

Summer Conference=Four Days of Learning, Connection, Joy and Solidarity

The Summer Conference returns to UMass Amherst, from July 26 to 29, for four days of workshops, skill-building and community. This year's theme is Building on Legacies of Collective Resistance, which inspires us to learn from the long history of movements for labor, racial, gender, education and economic justice, as well as other related struggles for dignity. By grounding today’s political and social moment in historical context, we strengthen our confidence, cultivate hope, and build our capacity to translate hard-won lessons into effective action today.

The conference will feature over 100 workshops, engaging speakers and panelists, top-rated meals and a variety of social events designed to inspire and energize. Participants will leave with new ideas, practical skills, and broader networks to bring back to their locals, campuses, schools, and communities.
