Protect the value of the baccalaureate degree in Massachusetts

Tell the governor, the lieutenant governor, the state education secretary, the state higher education commissioner and the members of the state Board of Higher Education that you oppose plans for a 90-credit bachelor's degree.

Let state officials know that you oppose plans for a 90-credit bachelor's degree, which will reduce and weaken the traditional 120-credit degree.

Take Action

Join fellow MTA members and community supporters in spreading the message Workers Over Billionaires! The action will start in Kendall Square outside the T-stop, then we'll march to a rally on Boston Common, which is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.

When billionaires and corporate interests rig the rules for themselves, it will take more than business as usual to stop them. Every gain working people have ever won came from collective action — and May 1 is our moment to stand together.

Join us as we honor May Day not just with words, but with action and community.

The action begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 1, at Kendall Square outside the T-stop. We'll rally and then march to Boston Common for a bigger rally scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
