Four members of the Retired Members Committee are elected by Statewide Retired District delegates to the MTA Annual Meeting of Delegates.

Nomination and Election Process

Four members of the Retired Members Committee will be elected by Statewide Retired District delegates to the MTA Annual Meeting of Delegates. The committee coordinates the virtual, First Wednesday Speaker Series, as well as other events and programs for retired members, and serves as an important voice for retired members within the MTA.

Who is Eligible to Run?

Nominations are open to all eligible MTA retired members through a self-nomination process.

Deadline

The deadline for nominations is March 6, 2026. Terms last two years and begin on July 1.
