Annual Meeting Of Delegates

The Annual Meeting brings together educators from across the Commonwealth to set priorities, debate key issues and vote on the policies that guide our union's work. Through discussion, collaboration and collective decision-making, members help shape the future of public education and the direction of the MTA.

Thank you to all of the delegates at the 2026 Annual Meeting! The next Annual Meeting of Delegates is scheduled on Friday, May 14, and Saturday, May 15, 2027, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. As the 2027 meeting approaches, this page will be populated with resources and information for delegates.

Annual Meeting delegates elect new leadership, conduct union's business

More than 1,500 in-person and virtual delegates voted for new officers, approved the operating budget and more.

MTA delegates approve $2M to defeat tax, budget-cutting initiatives

Annual Meeting delegates voted to commit $2 million of union dues to support the campaign to defeat two ballot initiatives.

Give to the VOTE PAC

VOTE, which stands for the Voice of Teachers for Education, is the MTA's Political Action Committee. Voluntary contributions are used for political purposes, including but not limited to making contributions to and expenditures on behalf of candidates for state and local offices.
